The real secret to long term weight loss is to find easy things that work for us. Here are just a few suggestions that might help you with this.

This might not make much sense to you but just recording what you eat can actually help you lose weight. This is because it makes you far more aware of what you are eating, and even if you never intend to share your diary with anyone else you can still feel a bit guilty about writing down excessive food intake. Most of us have a tendency to eat too fast. The problem with this is that our brains do not get a chance to register that we are full so we end up eating more than we need to. Making a deliberate attempt to eat more slowly should mean that you end up eating less.

To make the fast easier you can make it from noon one day to noon the next. This way you won’t even have a day without food.
2 – Walk More Every Day
My favorite way to lose weight is walking. This is a type of exercise that does not involve much effort. I recommend that you purchase a pedometer so you can see how many steps you are taking each day. Over time you can try to walk more and more – over the course of a day you could easily burn a few hundred calories without making any real effort. You should also do things like walking upstairs rather than using a lift or escalator.
1- Mindful Eating
The award for easiest way to lose weight goes to mindful eating. This is a type of meditation practice that you can do without ever having to learn meditation or sit cross legged. It basically involves being aware of what you are putting into your mouth and your reason for putting it there. You are not focused on what you are eating but more with your relationship with food. Many of us eat even though we are not hungry but mindfulness allows us to spot this bad habit – this means that we can pull back before opening the fridge door. Another way that mindful eating works is that the fact that we are focused on our food means that we feel satisfied with less. Most of us will have had times when we stuffed our faces without even being aware of what we are doing.
